SEN Breakfast remains Australia’s #1 footy podcast as SEN’s audience growth continues
Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has reinforced its position as Australia's leading sports audio network in the latest Australian Podcast Ranker results release today, with 18 titles ranked inside Australia's Top 300 Podcasts, headlined by SEN Breakfast, which remains the nation's number one football podcast and number one breakfast radio podcast.
The result continues a period of significant audience growth for SEN, following the network's recent GfK Radio 360 Survey 4 success, which saw SEN Breakfast record its highest ever audience share and cumulative audience, while SEN 1116am recorded its highest cumulative audience ever.
In the Top 300 Australian Podcasts results for June 2026, SEN Breakfast sits at #6 nationally, further cementing its position as the benchmark for sports audio in Australia and the leading destination for AFL fans.
SEN Breakfast comprises Fireball with Kane & Kingy with Kane Cornes and David King on Mondays and Fridays, and Breakfast with Garry & Tim featuring Garry Lyon and Tim Watson from Tuesday to Thursday, and continues to dominate the highly competitive sports podcast category while remaining the only radio program inside Australia's Top 20 podcasts.
The result further highlights SEN's unique ability to convert live radio audiences into highly engaged podcast listeners, reinforcing the network's leadership across both broadcast and on-demand audio.
Another standout result from the latest Podcast Ranker was the debut of The Global Game at #231, marking the first appearance in the rankings for SEN's football-focused program. The result comes amid strong audience interest generated by SEN's FIFA World Cup coverage and demonstrates growing appetite for dedicated football content, with The Global Game outperforming a number of established metropolitan radio podcasts in its first appearance.
SEN's diverse podcast slate, spanning AFL, NRL, racing, football and daily sports programming again delivered a strong national footprint, with a total of 18 SEN-produced shows featured in the Australian Top 300 Podcast Ranker:
  • #6 SEN Breakfast
  • #41 Whateley (with Gerard Whateley)

SEN Chief Executive, Craig Hutchison, said the latest results reflected the momentum SEN is building across every part of the business.
"These results are a tremendous endorsement of the strength of our content, our talent and our connection with sports fans across Australia," Hutchison said.
"Recent ratings results delivered record audiences for SEN Breakfast and a record cumulative audience for SEN 1116am, and we're seeing that same strength reflected in podcasting with 18 titles inside Australia's Top 300.
"SEN Breakfast continues to set the standard as Australia's number one football podcast and number one breakfast radio podcast. Just as importantly, it's the only radio show inside the national Top 20, which highlights our ability to successfully connect broadcast audiences with our on-demand content.
"We're also delighted to see The Global Game enter the rankings for the first time. It's a great result for the team and further evidence of the opportunity that exists to build passionate audiences across every major sporting code."
"The momentum we're seeing across radio, podcasting, streaming, social and digital platforms reinforces SEN's position as Australia's leading sports audio network. Our focus remains on producing premium sports content that fans can't get anywhere else, and we're excited by the growth trajectory we're seeing across the business."
