Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has continued its strong growth in New South Wales, with SEN 1170am reinforcing its position as a leading sports radio podcast producer in the state following the release of the Australian Podcast Ranker results for April 2026.
And it arrives at a time when SEN’s radio shows are set for further distribution, via additional simulcast on Fox League.
A total of 18 SEN-produced radio shows featured in the Australian Top 300 Podcast Ranker for the month, with SEN 1170am programming accounting for four key titles - The Run Home with Joel & Fletch, Morning Glory with Matty Johns, Kick Off with Brandy & Jimmy and SEN League.
Two of those - The Run Home and Morning Glory with Matty Johns - have also expanded their reach on Fox League.
The Run Home can now be watched Monday to Wednesday 5-6pm on Fox League (channel 502) and Kayo; while Morning Glory with Matty Johns will also now be seen on Fox League at 11am Fridays.
The podcast results saw SEN 1170am represent 24% of the total NSW radio podcast share of featured titles. Among NSW radio networks, SEN ranked second overall.
Importantly, all SEN 1170am shows improved their rankings month-on-month, underlining in particular the continued growth of SEN’s rugby league and sports audio offering across the state.
Leading the charge once again was The Run Home, which ranked third overall in monthly downloads (127,751) among NSW radio shows in the highly competitive drive timeslot.
The program also welcomes back Joel Caine from a health break next week, initially on Mondays.
SEN Chief Executive, Craig Hutchison, said the April results reinforced SEN’s growing footprint and leadership within the NSW sports podcast market.
“These results highlight the strength of SEN 1170am as a destination for sports fans in New South Wales, particularly across rugby league,” Hutchison said.
“To account for nearly a quarter of all NSW radio podcasts in the ranker - and to see every one of our programs improve month-on-month - is a fantastic result for the team.
“The continued success of The Run Home with Scope, Joel & Fletch demonstrates the power of authentic, informed and entertaining sports conversation, while the growth of SEN League reflects the huge appetite for NRL content as we approach State of Origin.
“And we are delighted to team up with Fox League to make these existing shows more accessible than ever as true multi-platform content offerings.”
