Cristiano Ronaldo has reiterated that he wants to continue playing until he has reached 1000 career goals.
Portugal captain Ronaldo, 40, raised his tally to 956 with a brace on Sunday (NZ time) for his Saudi club Al-Nassr, and said on Monday at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai that the milestone remains his goal.
"You know what my goal is. I want to win trophies and I want to reach that number that you all know. I will reach the number for sure, if no injuries," he said after being named the best player in the Middle East.
