First it was Juventus, and now Liverpool. Galatasaray are cutting a swath through European soccer's giants in the Champions League.
An entertaining 1-0 first-leg win in Istanbul on Tuesday night, Arne Slot's 100th match as Reds boss, has given the Turkish champions the advantage in this round-of-16 tie.
Elsewhere, German giants and runaway Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich stormed to a 6-1 win against Atalanta.
Plenty of goals too in Spain where Tottenham were embarrassed 5-2 by Atletico Madrid, while Newcastle United held Barcelona to a 1-1 draw in the northeast of England.

Mario Lemina's seventh-minute header secured the win for Galatasaray, who beat Liverpool by a similar scoreline at the same Rams Park venue in the group stage and stunned Juventus with a 7-5 aggregate victory in the playoffs.
The hosts had chances to take an even bigger lead to Anfield with them for next Wednesday's return leg with Victor Osimhen's second-half strike ruled out for offside, while the Merseysiders also saw Ibrahima Konate's effort disallowed by VAR for handball.
"Liverpool is a huge club, full of quality players," Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk said.
"We did what we had to do here. We won. But it's not over."

In Madrid, back-up Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky suffered the ignominy of being substituted 17 minutes into his Champions League debut after being at fault for two goals.
The 22-year-old Czech was handed his first start since October — and only his third appearance all season — in a big call by under-pressure Spurs manager Igor Tudor and it couldn't have gone worse.
In the sixth minute, he miskicked after slipping making a clearance, leading to Marcos Llorente opening the scoring.
Then, moments after Antoine Griezmann made it 2-0 for the hosts, Kinsky attempted a first-time pass but miskicked again. Julian Alvarez had the simple task of slotting the ball into an empty net.
Kinsky was immediately replaced by Tudor, with Guglielmo Vicario coming on, and looked inconsolable as he walked down the tunnel at Metropolitano Stadium.

Five-time European champions Barcelona haven't won the Champions League since 2015 and Hansi Flick's defending La Liga champions needed a stoppage-time Lamine Yamal penalty to cancel out an 86th-minute Harvey Barnes goal in Newcastle
Flick's former club Bayern Munich led 3-0 lead before the half-hour mark in Italy thanks to Josip Stanisic, Michael Olise and Serge Gnabry goals.
After the break, Nicolas Jackson added his name to the scoresheet, Olise got his brace and Jamal Musiala completed the away victory before Mario Pasalic got one for Atalanta in added time.
