RACE 1 - 12:30PM Winning Edge Presentations Handicap (1050 METRES)MATHEMATICIAN was impressive on debut here, coming off the speed to score a 1.35 length win over Sir Myka. MORE THAN HOPE ran well on speed in that race, beaten 2.46 lengths. SHOCAO was a Moonee Valley winner on October 3 before she was beaten 4.11 lengths behind Stardom in the Listed Crockett at Moonee Valley and has jumped-out well ahead of this. WILTSHIRE SQUARE is from the Maher stable and was beaten 4 lengths in 4th at Caulfield last time and has jumped out since. BARDIGRUB was a good winner in maiden grade, beating Ramasis last time. GAZZ scored first-up at a price and must be respected.

RACE 2 - 1:05PM Kirin Ichiban Handicap (1100 METRES)IRONBAR is a progressive horse who came off the speed for a soft 3.01 length win over Prodigal Lad at Strathalbyn last time. He draws a good gate and should take beating again. FLEURIEU FLIPPER ran OK in the same race, beaten 3.14 lengths after settling back and making ground. He has been in the money at 5 of 10 this track and trip. RIGHT OF VETO ran well here first-up and then jumped a $3.10 favourite when beaten 1.28 lengths in 2nd behind Vaniteux at Strathalbyn last time. HYSTERICAL LADY was a winner on the Parks track back on December 6 and ran OK last time, beaten 3.68 lengths in 5th behind Annihilate on the Parks track. MAGIC PRINCESS was an Oakbank winner three starts back and comes off an OK effort, beaten 2.85 lengths in 5th behind Wichitall at Morphettville, which is OK form for this. ANAHORISH was sent out a $3 favourite when beaten 1.4 lengths behind Cuban Waters at Balaklava. NIGHTSUN is a former Victorian first-up in SA for Stuart Gower and was placed at his past four over the border.

RACE 3 - 1:40PM Sportsbet Feed Handicap (1600 METRES)SAFE BET looks ready here up to the mile after running 4th behind Bassett Babe two runs back, he was OK again beaten 4.07 lengths behind Dirty Old Town on the Parks. That looks good form for this. BROWN NOSE DAY GIRL put together consecutive wins before running 3rd at her past two, the latest beaten 0.9 lengths behind Wichitall here. She gets some weight relief and should be in the mix again. FLAMING EYES is going super and also put together consecutive wins before being placed at her past couple, the latest making good ground when beaten 0.27 lengths in 3rd behind Somewhere Soon. ZARKANA has been around the mark and will get a good run from an inside gate and is right up to a race like this. BOLTED IN comes off a return to scoring a 0.19 length Balaklava win last time and maps well from barrier four.

RACE 4 - 2:15PM Sportsbet More Places Handicap (1050 METRES)MISS SLIPSTREAM was placed at three of her first four starts before breaking her maiden with a soft 3.09 length win over Carpe Astra at Murray Bridge last time. She draws out, but should take beating. NOSIE BY NATURE is now with the Bain/Taylor stable. His only win came on debut here, and he has jumped out sharply for his return from a good gate with the claim. OMAHA DAWN was a Balaklava winner on October 1, beating Swiftie Harriet, and has had a trial and jump-out to bring her up to speed. She is a winner fresh. PANTOJA wasn’t far away beaten 1.89 lengths in 6th behind Daisydoo at Morphettville last time. He maps well from the middle and should be in the mix. RUNAWAY BELLE draws the inside and was beaten 4.83 lengths in 8th behind Invertational last time. RULED BY THIEVES caught the eye beaten 1.92 lengths in 3rd behind In Love on the Parks last time. SMASHING ACTION was 2nd in that race, beaten 0.95 lengths. BABAYKA continues to race well.

RACE 5 - 2:50PM Rexco Handicap (2000 METRES)SOMEWHERE SOON was a Strathalbyn winner before making it two in succession, beating Tyusix here last time. That form is solid, and she is a stayer on the up who can win again. Stablemate CLASSY CLARET was a Murray Bridge winner two runs back and beaten 1.07 lengths behind Coorong Tycoon on the Parks last time. JUST A BROTHER is racing well, winning at Strathalbyn before he was narrowly beaten in the Port Lincoln Cup by Excelman last time. FULL OF COURAGE comes through the Lord Reims when down the track, he was a Murray Bridge winner four runs back, beating Coorong Tycoon and can run well from a good gate. MORTHAN EFFICIENT was beaten 3.1 lengths at Wangaratta last time and can run well here.

RACE 6 - 3:30PM Thomas Farms Manihi Classic (1100 METRES)CELERITY is a Godolphin mare in the Maher stable who was a Flemington winner on December 31 and has been runner-up at her past two. She draws a good gate with no weight and gets Jamie Kah. Will Clarken has an army of runners here. MIC DROP has been impressive, winning all three starts since coming to SA, the latest in a BM78 and draws the inside. Stablemate THUNDER SHOC was game in defeat at her first go at Listed level in the City Of Marion behind an impressive POWER BEAU. Clarken also has PRAIRIE FLOWER, who was well tried and again hitting the line hard beaten 2.39 lengths behind Sghirripa in the Listed Durbridge back on January 31, while the fourth of his team, SAV ON ICE, resumes. He found trouble in the Listed John Letts Cup before a spell and did win the Balaklava Cup back on September 10. ZOUPURRING is resuming and has been in the money at three of five first-up runs, he was placed in a recent jump-out here. LINGANI was good beaten 2.01 lengths in 5th in the Power Beau race here.

RACE 7 - 4:15PM Sportsbet Adelaide Cup (3200 METRES)BERKELEY SQUARE comes off an impressive return to winning form at Flemington over 2500m when he carried a big weight. He’s untried at 3200m but brings a lot of class here, having won 10 of 39 and should be fighting out the finish from the good barrier. HIGHLAND BLING is a progressive stayer who was narrowly beaten in the G3 Lord Reims. He draws a sticky gate but can make his own luck early, and the Stokes stable have a great record in this race. NEWFOUNDLAND comes through the Berkeley Square race. He was game running 2nd in this race last year and is going to make his presence felt. DICTIONARY comes through that race beaten 1.55 lengths in 5th and maps to get a nice run here. HURRY CURRY is a horse on the up at the right time, coming off a 2400m win at Sandown. She gets Jamie Kah from the perfect gate and will be right in the mix here. AMERICAN WOLF is a winner over 2800m in his 3yo season and was placed at three in succession before running 7th in the Hurry Curry race at Sandown. ZIBULON could be the knockout. He was good, late beaten 0.2 length in the Hurry Curry race, and draws a nice barrier. EVENTUALLY caused an upset, winning the G3 Lord Reims last time. She’ll have no issues with the 3200m and can be hitting the line strongly at odds. Stablemate CRIMSON VINE didn’t have a lot of favours in the run when beaten 0.5 lengths in 3rd in that race. KOMACHI was a good winner in the Premier’s Plate before being beaten 3.64 lengths in the Lord Reims. KIRKLISTON BLU was game, beaten 1.54 lengths in that race and will have no issues with the 3200m.

RACE 8 4:55PM The Fotobase Group Morphettville Guineas (1600 METRES)DIRTY OLD TOWN is a progressive local filly who made it three in succession when she defeated Freedom Flame. BOOTLEGGER was solid, running 3rd in that race, beaten 0.19 lengths, while MOSTLY FOR SHOW was beaten 3.27 lengths in 4th. SEYCHELLES was an $8 chance winning a Pakenham maiden last. UPTOWN MONK is a promising horse who caught the eye on debut before making light work of a Strathalbyn maiden last time winning by 4.33 lengths. He draws out, but should give this a shake. CANNAE comes off a 0.35 length Caulfield win and draws a perfect gate with Jamie Melham riding. EXIT was a $26 chance when beaten 4.75 lengths behind Sheza Alibi in the G3 Armanasco at Caulfield last time; this looks a drop in class. SHOMA comes off a solid effort, beaten 0.75 lengths in 2nd behind Sparkling Luck at Sandown. OUI OUI MA CHERIE is a handy filly who was a good winner two runs back.

RACE 9 - 5:35PM Quayclean C S Hayes Memorial Cup (1600 METRES)MISS ARIA is a good mare and looks primed here after two runs back from a spell, the latest beaten 2.95 lengths behind Bossy Benita in the Group 3 Mannerism last time. She draws the inside and gets her chance here. ARRAN BAY draws a middle gate and looks ready to improve third-up and was beaten 4.32 lengths behind Café Millenium in the Listed Elms at Flemington. A SAMURAI MIND was an eye-catching runner first-up over the 1200m in the City Of Marion, beaten 1.79 lengths in 4th behind Power Beau. He draws out but will love getting up in trip. SIR KINGSFORD was another who did his best work late in that race, beaten 3.89 lengths, and he draws a perfect gate to be in front for a long way. JACK THE LAD is another who is ready to run a big race; he was beaten 2.28 lengths in that race, but also draws wide. RONNY BEE has been placed at all three runs here in SA, the latest running 2nd as a $1.85 fav behind Wichitall, he maps to get a gun run. AIR ASSAULT looked a touch disappointing on face value when he led and was beaten 3.4 lengths behind Birdman at Flemington. He's a six-time winner here on his home deck and will run a big race. BAMYAN BUDDHA is flying and has made it two wins from the past three, beating Chakado here last time. VERDAD has a great fresh record and wears blinkers here for the first time from a good barrier. TALISAY was game first-up on seed, she draws out but can be a threat up in trip and over further here. WATADEEL debuts for Michael Hickmott from a good gate. DARKNCONFIDENTIAL comes back in trip after failing in the Premier’s Plate last time.
