New Zealand form analyst Jayne Ivil has provided her best bets for racing in NZ this Wednesday.
Today, Ivil is targeting the Riccarton Synthetic meeting.
See their best below:
Jayne Ivil
Race 1 Maiden 2200m
1 – 2 – 3 – 4
Warrior Boy (1) has been runner-up in his last two outings on the track over the 2200m trip. A narrow defeat last start, putting a margin on two of his rivals here sets him up nicely in a field which lacks depth. There is no natural leader in the small field so he should be able to take up a prominent position from barrier 2. The engagement of Micheal McNab in the saddle is a bonus.
Race 6 Open 2200m
3 – 1 – 2 – 5
Purple Prose (3) has been in super form this preparation, his last 6 runs have produced 3 wins and two placings. He is an honest performer and went down by a narrow margin on the track last start. He gets 1kg off with the engagement of inform apprentice Hayley Hassman and will carry 3kg less than the top weight Proserve (1), who is chasing a hat-trick of wins on Wednesday.
Race 10 Rating 65 1200m
8 – 5 – 9 – 1
Ayumi (8) sat wide without cover last start and still closed off with the fasted last 600m to win her maiden at start 7, the form out of the race is looking good with the runner-up winning at its next start. Will probably travel in the second half of the field from the barrier but will be closing strongly. Jack Attack (5) looks the danger coming back in grade after finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in at Rating 75 last start. The interest in the race is the stablemate of Ayumi, Phazed (9), who is returning from Kissing Spine surgery.
