If you're anything like me, you love a multi, and season-long multis really take the fun to the next level.
With the introduction of betcha, punters have new and improved betting markets to get creative with some futures bets to keep you locked in all season long.
Below are a few I've conjured up for your tailing pleasure.
Regular Season Multi Builder
Passing:
- Dak Prescott - 3500+ Passing yards (1.46)
When healthy for the whole season, Prescott has achieved this number all but once in his nine year career. Add George Pickens and an already elite CeeDee Lamb, he could touch the 4000’s.
- Justin Herbert - 3500+ Passing yards (1.65)
Herbert had one real weapon last season and still managed to throw for 3800 passing yards. The addition of rookies Omarion Hampton and Tre Harris, as well as the return of Keenan Allen, I can see Herbert smashing this number once again.
- Michael Penix Jr. - 3500+ Passing yards (2.30)
This is his first season as a starting quarterback, and from a couple of games last season, he has flashed a real connection with some of the best offensive weapons in the league, which could propel him to 3500+ yards. The offense combined for 4000+ passing yards last year, and with a year of learning under his belt, I believe he can reach this number.
- Bo Nix - 3500+ Passing yards (2.00)
Another second-year quarterback, but Nix has starting experience. With Sean Payton as his head coach, and offensive upgrades, I see Nix taking a step forward. As an already older rookie last season, Nix has big-game experience under his belt, and he flashed true top-10 quarterback potential last year.
Multi = 11.08
Rushing:
- Derrick Henry - 1250+ Rushing yards (1.40)
The Ravens bulldozer has aged like a fine wine. As most running backs start taking a step back before they're 30, Henry is still one of the best backs in the league entering his age-31 season. In one of the best rushing offenses in the league, this number is great barring injury.
- Chase Brown - 1000+ Rushing yards (3.00)
This will be the first year for Brown as an out-and-out starter in this high-powered Bengals offense, having just missed out on 1000 yards last year in only a part-time role. Based on that, this number is definitely in the realm of possibility, and how he looked in pre-season gets me even more excited. (If you want to be safer, bring it down to 750+ rushing yards).
- Josh Jacobs 1000+ Rushing yards (1.52)
Jacobs had a great first season as a Green Bay Packer. His last season as a Raider saw him fail to meet his lofty expectations after leading the league the season prior with 1600+ rushing yards. He's got a great track record of rushing for over 1000 yards, failing to reach it only twice in his six-year career, and I think he does it again this year.
- Jahmyr Gibbs - 1000+ Rushing yards (1.52)
After his first-round selection in the 2023 draft by the Lions surprised many, Gibbs has exploded into one of the most exciting players in the league. In his first year as a full-time player, he had 1400+ rushing yards and I think he’ll do it again.
Multi = 9.70
Receiving:
- Ja’Marr Chase - 1250+ Receiving yards (1.45)
Triple crown winner last season after leading the league in receptions, yards and touchdowns, Chase is showing no signs of slowing down. The offense is running it back and the defense looks atrocious, meaning that passing might be the only option at times.
- Justin Jefferson - 1250+ Receiving yards (2.10)
One of the best players in the league on his day and could get this number in his sleep. Be careful as he has had a niggling hamstring injury during pre-season, but if he plays all 17 games, this number is very achievable. He has a talented rookie quarterback at the helm and shapes to be his favourite target. I know if I were a rookie and Jefferson was on my team, I'd be looking for him every play.
- Drake London - 1000+ Receiving yards (1.70)
It’s still early days, but London’s connection with new quarterback Michael Penix Jr. looks like the real deal. He’s the No. 1 target in what could be a high-powered offense, and I think he reaches 1000+ receiving yards for the 2nd consecutive year.
- Mike Evans 1000+ Receiving yards (2.05)
Evans has achieved this number in every season of his 11-year career. It’s as simple as that. I’m betting on him doing it again. His biggest competition is still injured and coming back from a pretty gruesome leg injury, so I think quarterback Baker Mayfield looks for him early and often.
- CeeDee Lamb 1000+ Receiving yards (1.40)
Only in his rookie season has CeeDee Lamb missed this target, and with a healthy Dak Prescott, and with extra attention on George Pickens, Lamb should achieve this relatively comfortably. I can see Lamb near the top of the league in receiving yards. (I really like this, and even like 1250+ receiving yards @2.60 if you're feeling lucky).
Multi = 14.85
Something to add a little spice:
- Matthew Golden - 1000+ Receiving yards (5.00)
Something the Packers haven’t had since the departure of Davante Adams is a true number 1 wide receiver, and I think they might’ve found him. They drafted Golden in the first round this year, he posted the fastest 40-yard dash at the combine and I can see him separating himself from the other receivers and being Jordan Love’s top target. At these odds, I’d love to take a stab at it.
- Keon Coleman - 1000+ Receiving yards (4.50)
The MVP is his quarterback and there are not many options that stand out as the top target in an elite offense. Could we see a potential second year jump from Coleman? I like to think maybe, and 1000+ yards at these odds, I’ll take that all day. Someone has to catch passes.
- Xavier Worthy - 1000+ Receiving yards (3.30)
Coming off a 157-yard performance in the Super Bowl, and a lengthy suspension looming over Rashee Rice, Worthy has the potential to be the number one guy for Patrick Mahomes for a large chunk of the year. Travis Kelce is around, but not the same player he used to be, so I think Worthy can expand his role in the offense. With blazing speed, and the ability to get yards in bunches, a couple explosion games like the Super Bowl can put him well on his way to this number.
- George Pickens - 10+ Receiving touchdowns (5.00)
Has always been ultra talented but stuck in an underwhelming offense. He moves to the Cowboys with a pass heavy approach and a quarterback who loves to throw the ball. He won’t be guarded by the top option, and they can’t fully hone in on him with CeeDee Lamb there as well. He could put together a fantastic season, and at $5.00 odds, it’s worth a shot.
