Scone: Race 6, No. 2 - Smoke On The Water
Finally draws a gate, retains Bulllock and in a sign of intent, gets blinkers first time. The money has come and rightfully so, he’ll land on-speed and should prove too good for his rivals.
Scone: Race 7, No. 13 - Panta Rhei
Comes out of a very strong form race from the Scone carnival producing 3 subsequent winners. Rolls forward and makes her own luck on speed and a repeat of last start will have her wining this.
Pakenham: Race 4, No. 12 - Style Guide
Unsuited first time at the staying trip. Gets another crack at this time from a better draw and more suitable map. Big price to find out in a very winnable race.
Pakenham: Race 6, No. 5 - Scully
Looks to be back to his best this prep after settling at the back of the field from wide draws and flashing home late. He draws the rail rising in trip and can land closer in the run this time. Looks set to peak today and with some luck, he wins this race.
Sam Hyland
Pakenham: Race 2, No. 7 - Full body Red
Gets in well with the claim & has been good at both tries at the trip, trained on the track and is a horse with good scope.
Scone: Race 4, No.7 - Deemee
Is a solid stayer and is drawn to get a sweet run last start was a forgive but form prior to that was sharp for this race.
Narromine: Race 6, No.4 - Champers Girl
Gets in nicely with 2kg off both runs in have been good & will get a sweet run from gate 3.
Toowoomba: Race 6, No.8 - Bavarian Lady
Needs some luck from the gate but Huxy is a good pilot & if she gets a soft first half she will be strong on the way home, any rain about won’t hurt, all the best punters.
