After a short hiatus travelling overseas I’m back and as keen as ever to step into the Thursday night field at Q2 Parklands. A solid eleven race program without a feature race or final but nonetheless winners need to be found and just because they’re a standard race doesn’t mean the winning price changes!
The first steps at 6:54pm with a 6th grade over the 520m and the lucky last or get out stakes is scheduled for 10:21pm. All the action can be caught on SEN TRACK 1593am between 6 and 10pm with tips, analysis and banter to keep you occupied.
BEST BETS
R2 N7 SAVANNAH BEACH
Consistent type who has good form under her belt even after 64 starts. 16 wins and 18 minor placings show the value of early speed. Decent record at Q2 but would rather an inside draw. Feel the draw is less important here with minimal early speed in the field, should be able to lead off box 7.
R3 N1 HUCKLEBERRY HUGO
Map related play with the 2, Nangar Macie spearing wide as soon as the lids ping. 3 starts at the track for 1 win which came last start beating the slick Zipping Tesfay. Draws ideal, 8 placings from 14 starts off the red. This dog has had the red 14 of 76 careers starts, wow!
R4 N5 BROOKLYN BANDIT
Best on the card in what is a small field. Red looks talented but wants off and I believe we skip away with early speed. Last two runs have been nice and seems to explode after 10 metres. Run down in sub 30 two back and believe she gets stronger with another look at the track. Super keen!

Class act on her day but she’s hard to catch! Made her a nest a fair few times and boy has she burnt me! Tonight looks her night, juicy odds, great draw and the map to make life easy. Quality field but feel she’s the wrong price. Each way all day and take her top 3 & 4 if you can! $9.50 & $3.30 the win and place.
