It’s been a record-breaking year for the Melbourne Mavericks.
Record crowds, record wins and record membership numbers are among the highlights of 2026 and there’s still three matches to play out in the home and away season.
Sitting fourth on the ladder and edging closer to their first ever finals tilt, the Mavs might still be regarded as the 'new kids on the block' in the, league but they’re making a big impact.
Off the back of their 10-goal victory over the Sunshine Coast Lightning, the club has launched an incredible $1 membership offer for anyone that has jumped on the Mavs bandwagon this season.
Until their final home game against the Firebirds on June 13, fans have the opportunity to unlock the rest of this year for $1 with the purchase of a 2027 membership.
The deal applies to any level of membership and will also help fans gain early access to Grand Final ticket releases.
General Manager of the Mavs, Shae Bolton-Brown, said: “I’m so proud of everyone within the club for the growth we have recorded this season.
“As the players give it everything on the court, the team behind the scenes works tirelessly to ensure we’re giving our fans the best match day and membership experiences as we can.

“We love meeting them in the Gerni Get Together after our home games. Fans get to meet their favourite players on the court at John Cain Arena, it’s so rewarded for the playing group and coaches and reinforces why they do what they do.
“The Lumo Energy Community Classic, our live streams of the Reserves and the player-led clinics are all contributing to really bringing the Mavs experience to as many demographics and communities as possible.”
