Magic Millions set to be the richest night meeting in Australian racing history
The Gold Coast will come alive on Friday night when The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions - Under the Stars takes centre stage at Aquis Park for the grand finale of the Queensland Summer Racing Carnival.
The twilight meeting was introduced after the postponement of the programmed $14.5m Raceday on Saturday following torrential rain and the track declared unfit to race by stewards.
The seven remaining races from Saturday - highlighted by the $3 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic and $3 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas - will be among seven races carrying a massive prizemoney pool of over $13 million to be contested at what will be the richest night meeting ever in Australia.

The Gold Coast Turf Club will throw open the gates with free entry to General Admission in a great boost to punters and racing patrons. Gates will open at 4pm.
The club will release new hospitality packages to the general public at 2pm today, while it has been announced the night will feature laser light shows, an electric violinist and a special performance after the last race. A number of food trucks will add to the selection of food and beverages.
It has also been confirmed that the feature races $3 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic will be broadcast live on Channel 7 before the first innings of the BBL and the Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas will be broadcast after the first innings.
