Warwoven is now two wins from two starts after dominating in his recent race at Eagle Farm on Saturday across 1200m by 3.32 lengths.
The gun two-year-old is now the odds-on favourite (with Sportsbet) to win the Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) and looks primed to win that $3 million race.
In fact, racing analysts Ben Caluzzi and Nick Noonan are adamant that the colt by Sword of State is the best two-year-old heading into the Magic Millions.
“This has got to be the best two-year-old we’ve seen so far,” Caluzzi told RSN’s Correct Weight.
“I don’t know what’s going to beat him in the Magic Millions, maybe it’s a wet track.”
Noonan: “We have a clear number one (seed for the Magic Millions).”
Warwoven’s trainer Bjorn Baker also joined Correct Weight, explaining what makes his colt so elite, particularly mentioning the bay’s incredible attitude ahead of his Magic Millions run.
“He’s a very good looking horse. From day dot in the stable he’s just been very straight forward, laid back and relaxed,” Baker said.
“I think attitude has been one of his biggest assets.
“He is (very relaxed) and that definitely, as his trainer, makes my job a lot easier. It helps going into a high pressure, hot temperature, big race day in (the Magic Millions).
“He’s been around for a little bit now, so we’ll back him to go there and do everything right.”
Warwoven is the heavy $2 favourite to win the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on January 17.
