Jokic dominates Atlanta with 14th triple-double of the season

Nikola Jokic has dominated scoring 23 points to go with 17 rebounds and 15 assists for his 14th triple-double of the season as the Denver Nuggets beat the Atlanta Hawks 139-120 in NBA.
Russell Westbrook also hit 16 points and had 11 assists and Michael Porter and Jamal Murray contributed 21 points each for the Nuggets, who have topped 130 points in four straight games.
Trae Young led the Hawks with 30 points and nine assists, De'Andre Hunter scored 20 Vit Krejci added 14 points, Zaccharie Risacher finished with 13 and David Roddy 10.
The Nuggets scored 40 points in the first quarter on Wednesday but couldn't shake Atlanta, as the Hawks rallied from down nine early in the second to lead 62-57 before Denver responded to take a 74-71 lead at halftime.
Jokic nearly had a triple-double at intermission with 13 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.
When he reached 20 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists it was a first for the NBA in under 30 minutes.
The Nuggets took control with a dominant third quarter. Porter and Murray hit from 3-point range and Westbrook made a driving layup to quickly extend the lead to 84-75 in the first three minutes. The Hawks answered with two buckets, but then Denver put it away.
In Washington, Jordan Poole scored 30 points to continue his strongest stretch for the Wizards as the home side beat the Chicago Bulls 125-107.
Poole made six 3-pointers and topped 25 points for a fifth straight game, the first such stretch of his career.
In Miami, Tyler Herro scored 32 points and Bam Adebayo flirted with a triple-double as the Heat beat New Orleans 119-108.
Adebayo finished with 23 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists for Miami while Trey Murphy banked 34 for the Pelicans.
In other games, the Toronto Raptors accounted for the Brooklyn Nets 130-113, the New York Knicks beat the Utah Jazz 119-103, the Houston Rockets been the Dallas Mavericks 110-99 and the Detroit Pistons had the better of the Orlando Magic 105-96.
After scoring 22 points for the Pistons, Jaden Ivey sustained what appeared to be a serious leg injury in a collision with the Magic's Cole Anthony.
Ivey fell to the floor, grabbing his left shin in obvious agony and after a lengthy delay, was placed on a stretcher and wheeled off the floor.
