Life has been ramping up dramatically for Kiwi cyclist Ally Wollaston in recent weeks.
Just days after her historic win at the Tour of Britain, the 24-year-old two-time world champion has been deep in her text books preparing for an upcoming law exam.
Once that's done and dusted, it's straight back on the plane to France, where she'll tackle the Pyrenees mountains and their notoriously taxing altitude as part of a training camp with her professional team FDJ-Suez.
Woollaston admits the demands of professional riding bring a whole different level of pressure alongside the significant challenge of switching between track and road cycling.
"'I'm still wrapping my head around how to juggle both and to mentally prepare for both," Woollaston told Sport Nation's Scotty & Izzy.
"I've really struggled a lot, actually, on the road this year mentally. I've had a few pretty big mental struggles, just working with bunch positioning. It's terrifying. I find it really, really scary.
"It has been a huge work in progress for me, dealing with anxiety and the peloton and trying to figure out how to manage that stress and the pressure and how to just juggle the whole thing, which has been pretty overwhelming at times."
