Damian Lane suspended for 15 meetings
39-time Group 1 winner Damian Lane has been suspended for 15 meetings due to breaching whip rules in the Makybe Diva Stakes.
Lane rode Aeliana in that Group 1 finishing second behind Mr Brightside, however that performance has now left a sour taste in his mouth.
The jockey will no longer be able to ride Treasurethe Moment in the Feehan Stakes on September 26 and will miss several other rides.
His suspension will be lifted on Saturday October 4.
