ROSEHILL - Race 10 No.9 - TONKIN - Resumes. Lovely trial win! Won her last two fresh in fast time(s) then tested Persian Spirit (giving him wet) and Beast Mode (in sizzling time).
VALUE BET OF THE DAY
ROSEHILL - Race 4 No.3 - YOSHINOBU - Way back from gate fresh Gold Coast but very good closing sectionals then train wreck here latest when never clear. Can improve sharply here and juicy odds $12 early.

Race 8 - G1 Blue Damond Stks - 2YO SW - 1200m
5 - GUEST HOUSE - Strong debut win. Spelled. Great trial then slipped at start and covered stack of ground (keen) in Preview and arguably best run in that race. Like the fact they ran 8/100ths quicker than Oak Hill on the day too. Can he do everything right? That’s the gamble.
4 - BIG SKY - Two pretty effortless wins, both at 1000m so now for the 1200m. Has not been asked to ’smash the clock’ in either win.. Suspect there is plenty left under that hood!!
3 - CLOSER TO FREE - Terrific effort to absorb pressure, off the rail in Preview and was as strong as anything on the line beating Guest House. He was on debut also so.. There will be upside you’d think! Can win.
12 - STREISAND - Excellent closing fractions fresh Vs pattern then positive ride and controlled the Preview for Fillies. She won well. Doubt 1200m any issues.
16 - CHAYAN - Was on debut when closing hard on Streisand and better for that, 1200m to suit. Drawn to swoop!
6 - ETERNAL WARRIOR - Cold ride in Preview and strong home. Did think Closer To Free / Guest House were holding him late but he’s in the game for sure.
1 - UNIT FIVE - Has looked super in both wins. Magic Millions win had merit given tardy start too… In the mix.
