BET OF THE DAY (Melbourne)
SANDOWN (Hillside) - Race 8 No.2 - GLOBE - Gave great sight fresh when stable openly said he’d be much fitter. Set strong speed Caulfield and only collared last 20m. Winner Golden Path then matched motors with two proper horses in a G1/ WFA race. Ready to win!
BET OF THE DAY (Sydney)
ROSEHILL - Race 6 No.4 - MARHOONA - Resumes. Gun filly who trialled beautifully with Briasa. One-all with Tempted as 2yo. First run second prep here. Well drawn. Go well.

Race 8 - G1 Golden Rose - 3YO SW - 1400m
3 - SKYHOOK - Excellent return with big weight running fast time then held-up key stage in Run To Rose whilst winner put 2-3L on him, he worked clear and savaged the line running her to 1.6L. Looks desperate for 1400m and the overs in the race for mine $6.
9 - TEMPTED - Brilliant filly and all class on return in that Run To Rose when well off (faster) inside rail yet blew them away, she ran exceptional time/ sectionals. Doubt 1400m pulls her up. Should have beaten all these by panels in Slipper in my humble…
4 - WODETON - He was asa good as anything in that Run To Rose. Back/ Wide No cover Vs nasty bias yet still almost matched winner (Tempted) last 400m. Now draws gate 1 and gets to 1400m. HE was very very good that same Golden Slipper remember. Goes in everything!
7 - AUTUMN BOY - I am a huge fan! Off-pace and bias against fresh on same day as Run To Roses and powered that last 100m with 58kg. He had Grand Prairie long way behind so form clearly ties in.. Only tiny, tiny query.. Does he want 1600m now ???????
2 - NEPOTISM - That fresh run was no guide. Exceptional 3yo who is desperate for 1400m and may be the one who jumps out of the ground here… and now you’re getting $18 !?!?
