SENTrack • June 27th, 2025 2:17 pm

Miles Pfitzner & Cam Luke have your Friday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Ballarat (Synth), Tamworth & Warracknabeal in a bid to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Miles Pfitzner
BALLARAT (SYNTHETIC)
Race 7 | 3. Savvyrocker
Third up here which I think will help. Back to the scene of the original win. Market dead set smashed it at the open.
TAMWORTH
Race 4 | 8. Spandex
Not far away when well supported first up on the 15th at Port Macquarie. Out here for the kill shot now.
Race 8 | 3. This One Time
Flying this prep and finds another race weak enough for it to tick off. It’s better than these and draws soft enough again to find front and hold on.
WARRACKNABEAL
Race 8 | 1. Ballynacally
Looking to make it three in a row. Won the BM58 maiden at Geelong well and everything lines up again to cross lead and win. Weight does stop trains but bad horses don’t chase. Field weak.
Cam Luke
BALLARAT (SYNTHETIC)
Race 7 | 3. Savvyrocker
Forgive last start when backed but back in a slightly easier race today. Syntho no issue and has ran well third up before. Doesn’t have a huge amount of gate speed so some luck at some point needed but in the small field she should get it. Has ran behind horses rhan these (trial by press 2 back) and I think her class will prevail.
Race 8 | 6. Tewkesbury
Blinkers go back on which might have worked against him last start. His run at Bendigo wiht them on two back wins this. He will sit right behind Efficient and back in distance should have the fitness over him late. Had a hurdle trial that night fire him up also as he was meh last start. Wouldn’t be stunned if the pace was slow if he led but a little tempo I think helps so taking a seat would be preferable.
TAMWORTH
Race 5 | 6. Our Boy Ollie (each-way)
Resumes here off two decent trials and seems ready to go as always! Loves this track and distance and the toe in the ground no issue. Florino will make sure there is a lot of speed and was ok in town last week but think needs it a tad drier and with the inside alley for OBO he will get run of the race and be hard to hold out over his pet distance.
Race 6 | 2. Fiorsum Fred
Forget last start in town after he was totally outclassed. Quick backup will help as will the gate and the 3 kg claim where he can totally control the race. Soft track a big positive and a heavy track wouldn’t hurt her as she’s only been on at once and it was a long time ago so I would expect him to handle it if it does deteriorate. 1600m is his sweet spot and I think Fred goes bang. his previous two runs when he should’ve won the Gunnedah cup and he won a Highway is enough to win this.
WARRACKNABEAL
Race 7 | 5. Spanish Snitzel
Drops back to the 1600m after run at 2000m and I think it works today. Wet track works and the fitness works for him fourth up where he won previously. Not a massage amount of speed in the race (Feargal also back in dist) so it wouldn’t stun me to see Meech try and be a little prominent early and if he finds his best he will be too classy here.
MORUYA
Race 7 | 11. Donwon
From that good draw I expect him to be prominent on back of leaders. Was really good two back when winning and then was OK tougher race last start! Drying track won’t hurt and as long as there intent early he will be very hard to beat! Has form behind Sexure a few runs back and that has stacked up really well since! The only other in the Quad is CaniCanCan. Flies fresh and this is easier than last prep. Will stalk the fave and have a crack and I expect to run 2nd.
