BATHURST
Race 5 | 1. Cashbook
This race is a little lacking so I am with this bloke who had zero luck resuming. Won a nice race second up on first prep and from that gate can stalk Zale and be too good late.
TAREE
Race 1 | 9. Queen Tavane
Gets back to 2000m and a winnable race! Last start snagged back in tougher race at Warwick Farm and she never got a sniff. Weight is perfect and should enjoy a great run from the gate!Race 4 | 1. Jumeirah Beach
Has trialled well for this and even though first up form isn’t flash, they have been in better races than RBI’s. Bullock goes on and should stalk the speed. Drying soft track is perfect and even with the weight I expect him to be in the finish over a suitable kick off distance.
Race 6 | 1. Imperialist
Two runs back both been good races in town and way short of his preferred 2000m. Takes time to warm into a prep and always run well third up. Track conditions should suit and will have a lovely run in transit from the gate. Forecaster only other horse in my mind. Won’t do mud work to road and is low in the weights but Imperialist is the classy horse!
Sam Hyland
BATHURST
Race 3 | 1. Baycat
$3.40. Was a strong winner first up and has good speed about her, from a good gate she should whip along and be hard to catch.
TAREE
Race 3 | 6. Super Impressive
$3.50. Will be improved from the first up run and a hot tempo here will be in her favour, she has been competitive in some sharp races and second up form is sound.
IPSWICH
Race 5 | 2. Rich Minx
$2.40. Is sharp over this trip and from the good draw should lead up which is a good spot to be at the Switch, good draw is a bonus and has the claim so she is well in for this race.
PENOLA
Race 3 | 4. Sazerac
$6. Is in her right class and she will be strong at the trip, needs luck from the gate so if they go quick that will suit and she will be getting home over the top of them.
