Saturday best bets at Canberra (27/09)
A beer, wine and spirits festival will held alongside a rare Saturday race meeting for the 2025 Hops & Hooves Festival.
The six-race program is highlighted by a typically strong edition of the TAB Federal.

BEST BETS
Race 4 #11 NabhaNabha has found an ideal race to kick start her career.
The Richard Litt-trained filly trialled beautifully and off that, should be very hard to beat in what is respectfully a moderate maiden.
She showed good muster in that trial is drawn directly outside the other speed horse in the contest. I would guess that leading hoop Blaike McDougall will either find the front or sit in just behind the leader before making her debut, a winning one.
Race 6 #11 Win The DayWin The Day looks to be a mare enroute to bigger and better things. She was super consistent last preparation winning a couple of races including a strong Class 2 on Black Opal Stakes Day.
The Joseph Jones Racing-trained galloper was tested in town before her prep ended in an unlucky TAB Highway run, where she was only beaten 1.6 lengths after a long float to Scone.
She will begin what is just her third prep here on her home track where she’s registered a win and a 3rd from three starts. She’s drawn to get the run of the race and she is a horse I will follow all preparation.
