Nottingham Forest have continued to apply the pressure on second place Arsenal after they took care of Ipswich Town away from home overnight.
After leading 3-0 at half time, thanks to goals from Nikola Milenkovic (35th minute) and Anthony Elanga (37th and 41st minute), Forest ensured the three points were coming home when Jota Silva (87th minute) put away the team’s fourth goal to ultimately win 4-2.
The win for Forest sees them within a point of Arsenal who are second, as well as extend their gap from fourth place Chelsea to five points before the end of Matchday 29.
Manchester City avoided a shock loss at home to Brighton as they drew 2-2 with the Sea Gulls.
An Erling Haaland penalty (11th minute) and an Omar Marmoush (39th minute) strike was enough for the reigning Premier League champions to avoid defeat after Brighton found a way to equalise twice in the contest.

City’s draw leaves them in fifth place and one point behind Chelsea who are yet to play this week. A top three finish looks difficult to achieve now as well for them as they find themselves six points behind Forest with less than 10 games to go in the season.
Wolverhampton have strengthened their chances of staying in the Premier League after they defeated bottom of the table Southampton 2-1 away from home.
A Jorgen Strand Larsen double (19th and 47th minute) was enough to see the Wolves get over the line, despite Paul Onuachu’s 75th minute strike that allowed the Saints to have hope of potentially gaining a point.
It’s been a dreadful season for Southampton, as they now sit dead last with only nine points next to their name.
They’ve also conceded a league high 70 goals now for the season as a return to the championship seems imminent.
Everton have dramatically extended their unbeaten run to nine games now after escaping with a 1-1 draw at home overnight.
West Ham opened the scoring in the 67th minute against the Toffee’s, thanks to a Thomas Soucek strike that saw him pick up his sixth goal of the season.
Luckily for Everton, Jake O’Brien was able to knock in a header in the 90th minute to give the Toffee’s their fourth draw in a row.
And Brentford have given Bournemouth’s European hopes a massive blow after coming out of their contest as 2-1 winners over the Cherries away from home.
The Bees trailed early in the game after conceding an own goal in the 17th minute, but fought hard after that to find two goals in the 30th minute (Yoane Wissa) and the 71st minute (Christian Norgaard) to walk away with the three points.
The win for Brentford keeps their European hopes alive by the barest of margins, with the Bees moving within six points now of the top six. As for Bournemouth, their ninth loss of the season sees them stay in ninth position, yet five points off the top four with Chelsea yet to play.
Chelsea can extend their gap on the multiple sides that sit narrowly outside the top four, when they take on Arsenal in what looms to be a blockbuster on Monday morning.
Leicester City will continue to fight as hard as they can to try and avoid relegation, when they host a Manchester United side that has still only won one game from their past five league matches.
And Fulham will host Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs side on Monday morning, in what anticipates to be a crucial match for both sides. A Fulham win will see them rise into eighth position on the Premier League table, whilst a Spurs win will see them get within five points of the top 10.
