Bravo rebrands athlete division to Odyssey Sports Management
Sports Entertainment Group (SEG) is proud to announce the rebranding of its athlete talent management division from Bravo Sport to Odyssey Sports Management, marking a new chapter in the company’s commitment to guiding the next generation of elite Australian athletes.
Odyssey Sports Management will now serve as a standalone and dedicated full service active athlete agency, focused exclusively on managing current and emerging stars of Australian sport. From the moment an athlete enters the professional arena through to their post-career transition, Odyssey offers a full-service approach to athlete representation, including contract negotiation, sponsorship and endorsements, welfare and wellbeing, financial guidance and long-term career planning.
Building on an already experienced talent management business base, names currently in the Odyssey Sport Management stable include Darcy Moore, Josh Dunkley, Jacob Weitering, Chloe Molloy, Monique Conti and Ruby Schleicher.
What sets Odyssey apart is its deep integration and access as a strategic partner to SEG’s multi-faceted media ecosystem, which includes the SEN Radio network, Rainmaker TV production, marketing/sponsorship, content creation, digital and social media amplification, and financial support. This unique connection provides athletes with unrivalled access to media exposure, brand-building opportunities and commercial pathways.

The rebrand reflects SEG’s strategic decision to clearly distinguish the part of its talent business that manages currently active athletes from Bravo which manages coaches, broadcast journalists and lifestyle presenters.
“In the increasingly competitive market of athlete management, we felt it was important to create a brand that speaks directly to the journey of today’s athletes that eliminates the possibility of any conflicts that can arise as they navigate the complexities of player movements and trade along with the increasing individual IP opportunities that exist,” said Craig Hutchison, CEO of SEG. “Odyssey is about more than just playing contracts - it’s about guiding talent through the long and often adventurous journey of professional sport.”
The name ‘Odyssey’ captures the spirit of that journey - one filled with ambition, growth and transformation. It also reflects the company’s commitment to building relationships with athletes from a young age and supporting them every step of the way.
James Pitcher will lead Odyssey as its Managing Director.
Pitcher said further additions to the team to be announced in the coming weeks.
“This new brand allows us to speak more directly to athletes who are already becoming household names before they even begin their professional sporting careers, while continuing to support those already at the top of their game.”
Odyssey Sports Management is now officially live and will continue to operate as part of the broader Sports Entertainment Group.
The Bravo Talent Management business, led by SEG Executive Director, Chris Giannopoulos, along with the highly experienced Liam Pickering, will operate alongside Odyssey and continue to focus on representing some of Australia’s most recognised talent across TV, radio and entertainment, along with senior coaches and retired sports stars.
