De Minaur's showdown with Alcaraz officially locked in

Alex de Minaur will have to wait well into the night on Tuesday before he faces Carlos Alcaraz with their quarter-final match officially locked in.
The Australian Open have confirmed that the blockbuster match will be the last match played on Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday (Day 10 of the tournament).
Leading into the de Minaur vs Alcaraz match will be the No. 3 seed in the women's singles, Coco Gauff as she plays the Ukraine's Elina Svitolina to open the night session.
This will be a change for de Minaur as he has previously opened the night session in his last three matches at this year's Australian Open.
While for Alcaraz, this is his first match under the lights since his first round match against Aussie Adam Walton.
This will be the first time that the Australian and the world No. 1 have played each other at a Grand Slam.
Currently, the Spaniard has a 5-0 record against de Minaur.
But after some strong performances against seeded opponents in Frances Tiafoe (No. 29) and Alexander Bublik (No. 10) in this year's AO, there is certainly more confidence that de Minaur will pose a significant challenge on centre court.
In the day session, Rod Laver Arena will have the female world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka versus 18-year-old American Iva Jovic, which will then be followed by 2025 AO Finalist Alexander Zverev playing against Learner Tien.
SEN will have live commentary of the night session for Day 10 as part of its live Australian Open coverage.
That can be heard on SEN's radio network and on the SEN app from 7pm AEDT.
