Arrow McLaren have announced their new driver line-up for the 2027 IndyCar season with the addition of Sir Scott Dixon and Felix Rosenqvist.
The pair will join Pato O’Ward in the team’s three-car full season line-up, with 2014 Indianapolis 500 winner Ryan Hunter-Reay getting in the driver's seat again.
New Zealand's own Dixon departs Chip Ganassi Racing after a 25-year relationship. Dixon was a six-time series champion while part of the Ganassi team (2003, 2008, 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2020).
Dixon gets to take on a new challenge in his legendary career, carrying the name of another Kiwi great in Bruce McLaren.

“As a New Zealander, being part of Bruce McLaren’s legacy will be special; his spirit and grit are still very much rooted in that team, and I’m excited to carry that on,” Dixon said in a statement.
Dixon now joins reigning Indianapolis 500 champion Felix Rosenqvist, who previously raced for McLaren from 2021 through to 2024.
“I’m excited to return to Arrow McLaren next season and reunite with Pato, of course, and also Tony, Zak and the crew and engineers I worked with previously. There are a lot of familiar faces, and we’ve got an incredible lineup with Scott joining and Ryan returning for the 500. I think our collective experience will be a huge benefit. “
The additions to the Arrow McLaren side will force two of their three current full-time drivers out of their seats following this season, with Christian Lundgaard and Nolan Siegel to depart.
Lungaard who currently sits in third in the points table, will be highly sought after for the 2027 season.
